Bobrisky declares, “Women need to embrace me as a member of the sisterhood; I’m a woman.”

The popular Nigerian actress Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, better known by her stage name Bobrisky, has proclaimed that he is a woman and that other women must embrace him as one of the sisterhood’s members.

This claim is made in a recent post that has the following caption:

“Women have no choice. They have to accept me as part of the sisterhood. “I’m a woman.”

Bobrisky made the announcement following her win of the best-dressed female award.

Numerous Nollywood celebrities and anxious Nigerians have commented on the surprising development of winning the prize in spite of not being a biological woman.

Bobrisky released a fresh statement in reaction to the criticism that followed the prise, stressing that he should be respected by both women and men alike and shouldn’t be judged based only on the fact that she identifies as a woman.

He continued by saying that since she identifies as a woman, women ought to welcome her as a sisterhood member.
