Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, a controversial street-pop artist, he has finally explained why he and his colleague Seyi Vibez do not get along.
The discovery was revealed by the Nigerian musician during a recent appearance on Nedu Wazobia’s show, The Honest Bunch.
Portable revealed in the interview how Seyi Vibez pleaded with him to attend and play at his African Shrine performance without asking for payment. Zazu mentioned that he had spent more than 500k at the show and that he had attended.
He added that a few months later, he sent Seyi Vibez an invitation to perform at the African Shrine and was even prepared to pay for it, but his letter and invitation were ignored.
The street-pop musician claimed in his conversation with the Honest Bunch that he couldn’t see any reason why Seyi Vibez couldn’t respond to his message. He promised that he would at least respect him enough to respond to his message and provide a good explanation if he was unable to attend. Seyi vibez was further criticized by Portable Zazu, who said it was foolish of him to be bragging to him.
