The controversial influencer Kesari Okala speaks out about his confrontation with street singer Portable and explains why he chose not to attack him.
This happened when a widely shared video of the two of them meeting in well-known Computer Village in Lagos, produced a situation that nearly resulted in violent altercation.
Due to their long-running dispute over who is the true originator of the word “Kesari,” Portable in the video struck the influencer twice while shouting insults at one another.
Kesari stated in a follow-up video on his page that he didn’t want to be perceived as a “hooligan” and therefore refrained from assaulting Portable until he passed out.
In his words,
“Okay now Nigerians, if I had handled the guy for you, you’d have called me a hooligan. Who does that? This is pain!”
