The moment Omashola’s wife is on her way to the podium to accept an award from her school and he starts screaming “Warri,” frightening the pupils in the classroom.
He claimed to have been there for his wife’s graduation from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, where she had been recognized as the best final-year BCOM accounting student.
He called out “Warri” to cheer his wife on as she made her way to the podium to accept the award.
But this immediately made him the target of fearful and perplexed eyes.
Omashola wrote and posted a video:
“Top final year student in BCOM accounting at the best university in Africa UCT. Warri no dey carry last”.
