Davido declared himself to be the greatest in the history of the Nigerian music industry.
Even though Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy are currently regarded as three of Nigeria’s biggest artists, he has always rejected comparisons to his peers.
Nigerian content creator Shopsydoo, who is British, posted a TikTok video in which Davido boasted about being the only “GOAT” in Nigeria.
“There is only one GOAT in my country and it’s me,” he boasted.
On the American program Sway’s Universe, Davido recently stated that, in contrast to common opinion, he, Wizkid, and Burna Boy are currently the three biggest Afrobeats stars in the world. He is the sole well-known Afrobeats performer.
