Rapper and seasoned Nigerian artist Dare Fasasi, commonly known as Baba Dee, has drawn mixed reviews for remarks he made about his late younger brother Sound Sultan when he appeared on Teju Babyface’s show.
Baba Dee talked about missing out on signing Wizkid when he was still a studio rat during the event.
He claimed that Sound Sultan, the late brother of Banky W, had advised him to add Wiz to the Naija Ninjas roster prior to Banky W signing him, but he was overconfident in the man.
Baba Dee noted that Wizkid had always been a calm, laid-back individual who knew exactly what he wanted.
The late music mogul talked about his brother’s passing as well as the disease that ultimately claimed his life.
Even though Sound Sultan was receiving treatment at one of the best non-Hodgkin lymphoma institutes in the world, he claimed that six months prior to his death, he realized he was living on borrowed time.
Teju Babyface was given a rundown of the advantages of having a second passport by Baba Dee, who also mentioned that he didn’t have any anecdotes about driving for Uber like his other guests had.
