Chukwuma Innocent Ideh, a filmmaker, has made donations to the families of the makeup artist and soundman who perished in the Anam River boat disaster.
He paid N500,000 into the soundman’s account and N700,000 to the family of the deceased makeup artist.
Following the announcement on Thursday of the death of actor Junior Pope, the two young creatives were found deceased upon their retrieval from the River two days subsequent to the tragedy.
Their boat overturned in the Anam River in the state of Anambra while they were returning from a movie shoot in Asaba.
Screenshots of the money the filmmaker had transferred elicited varying reactions from social media users; some fans commended him for supporting the family.
