Legendary Nollywood actor Prince Emeka Ani remembers how his phone abruptly stopped working after he got an excessive credit notice from skit creator sabinus for a joint project.
Ani gave the AMVCA-winning comedian and fellow actor praise for handling him properly at their most recent joint venture in Rivers State.
In a now-viral video, he said that Sabinus drove a Prado Jeep to pick him up from Asaba, Delta state, for a project that involved creating a skit in Port Harcourt, Rivers state’s capital.
He said that the entire manufacturing process took 15 minutes, but he was treated like royalty at a high-end hotel.
He observed that the credit alert he had received was large enough to freeze his phone for a few seconds.
He wrote;
“During my stay, he accommodated me in one of the finest hotels in Port Harcourt and arranged for a Prado Jeep to take me back to Asaba. Truly grateful for the royal treatment. Nobody has given me such respect and priority.
“After shooting a 15-minute skit with Sabinus, I was treated like royalty. He paid me before I even left Asaba, and the alert from him froze my phone for a few seconds.”
