The winner of BBNaija Season 7, Phyna, got into a contentious argument on Twitter with influencer Daniel Regha on remarks she made in her most recent podcast criticizing Edo men.
Phyna talked about Edo men and their seeming propensity to prolong relationships without moving toward marriage on a recent episode of her podcast.
Using her own 12-year relationship with an Edo guy as an example, she shed light on what she perceived to be a common issue with these guys.
Daniel Regha, however, was infuriated by her remarks and attacked the reality star on social media.
Phyna was charged by Daniel Regha with ignorance, denigration of Edo men, and inconsistencies in her stated age and duration of connection.
He said it was concerning since Phyna seemed to be implying in her remarks that she started dating young.
In Daniel words..
“Phyna is 26 yrs old according to her BBN & Wikipedia age, but she claims to have dated a man for ’12 years.’ So she started dating at the age of 14? Again, using her poor decision to disrespect Edo State men in general is wrong. She’s always sounding very unintelligent,”
In response to Daniel Regha’s remarks, Phyna swiftly stated that their situations were similar and called him out for his hypocrisy.
Phyna wrote;
“Daniel, there’s no difference between me and you if we look at it closely… And if gullible Nigerians agree, then we’re in the same boat. So, you either sit this one out or head to YouTube to watch the full podcast. Don’t be a hypocrite.”
