The arrest of well-known lifestyle influencer Bobrisky has been confirmed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which also provides an explanation for the move.
According to sources, Bobrisky was taken into custody on April 3rd at his home in Pinaccle Estate, Lagos, early on Thursday morning.
A representative by the name of Dele Oyewale confirmed the arrest and gave Linda Ikeji Blog special information about the cause of the arrest.
He claimed that the crossdresser was arrested for mishandling Naira and mutilating cash. He went on to say that Bobrisky is now being held in their Lagos-based facility and will be charged as soon as possible in court.
“He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and abuse of Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos State”, Oyewale said.
