Isaac Olayiwola, better known as Layi Wasabi, is a well-known comedian who talks about how his grandfather gave him his old shoes and clothes, which he now wears for skits.
This was revealed in a recent interview with the comedy series creator and skit creator most known for playing the fictional character “The Law.”
He disclosed that the oversized outfits he uses for his skits were inherited from his grandfather.
Layi disclosed that he discovered perhaps five other items while searching through his grandfather’s clothes.
Although the shoes are more recent—roughly 20 years old—he pointed out that the clothes are all older than he is.
“Funny how the suits are normally wear to play ‘The Law’ belonged to my grandfather. He handed it over to me and the suits are older than me. As you are looking at that suits I have about five more. I have five of different colors. It was just me ransacking his wardrobe seeing old things and he was like “Have it, have it” even the shoe, but I think the shoe is a little bit more recent,” he said in part
