Tunde Onakoya, a chess specialist from Nigeria, is greeted with great fanfare at the airport after shattering the previous Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon.
The creator of Chess In Slums Africa set a new record on Saturday, playing for 60 hours straight at New York’s famed Times Square. This record is subject to confirmation from GWR.
A cultural ensemble was seen entertaining Tunde upon his arrival at the international airport in Lagos state, according to a viral video.
