Despite having seven nominations throughout the course of his successful career, popular Nigerian comedian and actor Bovi Ugboma has expressed his displeasure at never having won an Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA).
The comedian expressed his feelings on his Instagram page after attending the just finished AMVCA10 at Eko Hotels.
Since the AMVCA awards’ founding, Bovi has gotten seven nominations in total, four of them are for individual performances, he disclosed in an Instagram post.
To his dismay, he hasn’t yet secured a single victory. Bovi acknowledged that, looking back on his path, he had intended to have achieved at least ten accolades by now.
His post read;

“Individual nominations- 4
“Wins- 0
“Expected wins before #amvca20 – 10
“Congrats to all the winners from last night. Very deserving.”
Bovi sincerely congratulated all of the AMVCA10 winners despite his sadness.
