The Actor’s Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president, Emeka Rollas, has provided Nigerians with information regarding veteran actor Zack Orji.
This occurs shortly after reports circulated on social media, mostly on Facebook, that he had passed away.
Zack Orji collapsed on the final day of 2023 and was taken to the intensive care unit of an Abuja hospital, where he was deemed critically ill.
The AGN president used social media to dispel the rumors. On his verified Instagram account, he admitted that some “mischief makers who enjoy circulating fake news” were to blame for the veteran’s purported death.
Emeka Rollas cautioned internet users against falling for fake news while refuting reports of Zack Orji’s passing. To quote him:
“Mr Zack Orji is alive.
Please ignore mischief makers who enjoy circulating fake news. This is to show how wicked some people can be. It is totally unacceptable.”
