Regarding a similar film project, Nigerian actress Bakare Zainab has publicly criticized her colleague Wumi Toriola.
Bakare Zainab, who appeared to be quite offended, questioned Wumi’s daring and what gave the movie star the nerve to talk to her on Instagram Live.
Bakare mentioned that Wumi has been triggering her for more than 4 years, but she continues to ignore her antics.
The Yoruba movie diva said that when she went to upload the teaser for her film “Sister Esther,” some individuals informed her that Wumi had urged them to let her know that she should be given credit for being the inspiration for the film.
Bakare Zainab pointed out that some people lead by example and don’t expect anything in return. She brought up names like Mercy Aigbe, Funke Akindele, Lola Idije, Mide Martins, and Shola Shobowale.
She said that Wumi would treat everyone rudely, regardless of age, at various movie venues and would still boast about her ability to insult anybody.
She stated in a video;
“The audacity baffles me a lot. What gives you the strength to think you can just be talking? It’s been over 4 years, and I just keep overlook things, sometimes I just post on my WhatsApp status, you guys should go hold your favorite.
Tonight I want to upload my movie and someone is telling people to tell me to put inspired by. What’s wrong with you? Grow up. Must it be you, why can’t you shush your mouth and just move?
Some people set the pace and so many people will follow that pace, but you I don’t understand you, u can’t even follow your pace. If you set any stup!d pace, I will kick it away, because I don’t want to be like you.
At location, you will be rude to everybody both young and old. I think I am done with all this bullshit. Since you sent people to me in private, I have come with my full chest to tell you to stop it. The next time I am coming on this Live video is to mention your name. I have given enough clue, those that know I am talking to you, will send this to you”.
Despite not mentioning Wumi Toriola by name, she made it clear that she was referring to the actress. Many more begged the two actresses to remain composed by mentioning Wumi Toriola’s name in the comment area.
