Diligent The renowned social media activist VeryDarkman, who celebrated the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) arrest and trial of cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, commonly known as Bobrisky, has come under fire from Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu.
Bobrisky entered a guilty plea to charges of alleged financial theft and money laundering when he appeared in court on Thursday.
VDM, who previously had a falling out with the drag queen, recently issued a warning to followers not to become involved in Bobrisky’s situation, hinting that it would not go well.
In a video that was posted online, VDM pleaded for influential figures like Mr. Blue Audi, Mr. Lamborghini, and Mr. Pinnock to stay out of the controversy, warning that any interference may have disastrous consequences for them.
“You are a big boy, you have many connections, but I want to advise you, you see this matter, don’t make any calls. If you do, this issue will drown you, it will bring you down and everything you have worked for,” VDM said.
VDM’s remarks infuriated Uche Maduagwu, who noted that Bobrisky had behaved more responsibly than the activist.
Uche Maduagwu related a story about how VDM was arrested by the police for disseminating false information, noting that Bobrisky refrained from complimenting or bemoaning VDM’s circumstances.
Uche Maduagwu’s words:
“It’s obvious Bobrisky is more mature than you 100%. When you were arrested by the Police for spreading fake news, she never rejoiced or laughed at your situation.
“But just a few hours after EFCC arrested Bobrisky, you have started rejoicing and making skits. What a shame”.
“Is this one Activist or what? When Police Arrest you VDM for spreading FAKE NEWS Wey you stay how many days with Police, some Nigerians were BEGGING on your behalf, how many people do #SKIT to mock you?
Even Bobrisky could have start rejoicing over your arr*st, but did she? NO. That shows she Dey Mature pass you. VDM, Abeg all those FAKE NEWS about Police DIG, about Tonto Dikeh as GISTLOVER, Abeg gather those EVIDENCE to present before Court, Na only BAIL Dem give you.”
