DJ SWitch responds to Benjamin Hundeyin’s public apology for fabricating rumors that she was arrested.

DJ Switch received a public apology from Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, in response to false reports that she was detained by the police.

Recall that earlier today, news of the well-known DJ’s apprehension made headlines due to his interference with police officers while they were on duty.

However, DJ Switch has refuted these claims on social media and issued a threat of legal action, asserting that she does not approve of or advocate violence against law enforcement.

DJ Commissioner Wysei was the one detained, not DJ Switch, as claimed by Benjamin Hundeyin, the person who started the reports.

He expressed regret for any inconvenience these reports would have caused to the media outlets that he had earlier in the day supplied information to. He expressed regret to DJ Switch as well.

In his words: “There is a mixup from our end. Arrested person is DJ Commissioner Wysei not DJ Switch. Apologies for all inconvenience to a few media outfits like Lindaikeji, BBC and TVC that I gave confirmation this morning. Apologies to DJ Switch too.”

DJ Switch responded; “Thank you! Apologies accepted.”
