In the midst of Bobrisky’s jail sentence, Portable begs the EFCC to forgive him for spraying money to his supporters.

Diligent The EFCC has received pleas from Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, for dousing his followers in cash.

The crossdresser Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, received a six-month jail sentence.

It appears that this has made other Nigerians more cautious, especially the celebrities who regularly spray Naira in public.

Remember how Portable once said he offers his fans spray paint worth about N2 million every day? In a recent live chat, the street artist declared that his acts make people feel better.

The head of the Zeh Nation label begged for pardon from the government and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), an anti-graft agency, looking afraid of the repercussions when video surfaced of him splashing cash.

Announcing that he would only be making transfers, Portable urged his fans to get bank accounts and said he would no longer be spraying money.

According to Portable:

I didn’t deface the Naira, I help a lot of people, After God na Government, Please forgive me if you have videos of me spraying money, no more spraying of money.
