Yesterday, April 14, the remains of the late makeup artist Abigail Frederick, who perished in a boat accident with Jnr. Pope and three other people, were dug up.
On Sunday afternoon, it was dug up and transported to her native state of Akwa Ibom, where her final resting place will be.
On Thursday, April 11, Abigail’s body was discovered buried along the riverbank.
It was said that because her family had not offered a sacrifice to please the river deity, the townspeople had demanded that her remains be buried there.
