Tiwa Savage, as known as internationally recognized Afrobeat Queen Tiwatope Savage, has not stopped pushing and promoting her latest film, Water & Garri.
Recently, a video of Tiwa Savage at the film’s opening went viral, in which she gave a shout-out to everyone who helped make Water & Garri a reality.
She discussed how the new movie came to be and why it took her two years to make during the press conference.
The famous musician revealed in the interview that she had the initial idea for Water & Garri in her room when she was intoxicated.
She added that she had assumed her team would reject her idea when she had initially brought it to them, but they had accepted it, refined it, and helped make it a reality.
Water and Garri took two years to create and produce for the general audience, according to Tiwa Savage.
