Amidst a backdrop of family conflicts and conflicting assertions, popular human rights activist Femi Falana has reportedly resigned from her representation of the late Nigerian musician Mohbad’s family.
An audio clip has surfaced in which an unidentified male stated that Falana’s chamber had been plagued by ongoing problems because of the late Mohbad’s family’s actions.
The guy claimed that the family’s interactions with different media sources had resulted in remarks that were in conflict with one another, which had impeded the pursuit of justice for the departed.
Additionally, the late Mohbad’s family, in especially his patriarch Aloba and his daughter-in-law Wunmi, were noted in the audio as being involved in a vicious fight.
Aloba and Wunmi have been trading accusations, with Aloba claiming that Wunmi is trying to hurt him and Wunmi responding by filing a defamation lawsuit and sending him a pre-action notice.
The man on the tape then claimed that Falana should not drop the case because of his prestigious reputation and that the court has accepted these kinds of family disagreements as normal.
