The late Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, has been ordered by an Ikorodu magistrate court to have her son Liam’s DNA tested.
This was made public on Wednesday, April 17, in a statement endorsed by Monisola Odumosu, an attorney on the Aloba family’s legal team.
Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, requested permission to serve Wunmi by posting all of the lawsuit’s original documents and additional documents to the respondent’s last known address in an application sent to the family by the legal team.
The statement stated that the attorney for Emmanuel Oroko asserted that the sheriff attempted twice in vain to deliver court documents for the DNA test to Wunmi.
โIf the process were served on the last-known address of the respondent by Order of the Court, it would constitute good service and she would be aware of the pending suit.โ
Because of this, the Chief Magistrate has approved the order directing that the respondent be served by posting the court documents at her most recent known address.
