Narrative
Ryan is a gifted chef who is struggling financially and has severe gambling addiction.
Given the circumstances, he quickly flees the town for the safety of an unidentified Latin American nation, where he is welcomed into the home of his buddy Jack, a more distinguished chef who is dealing with his own special problems.
Ryan is unable to understand how Jack is able to support his lavish lifestyle of entertaining the rich and famous in paradise.
Although he tries not to be jealous, he can’t help but wish for this kind of life for himself.
A cruel turn of events will soon provide him that. After adopting his friend’s identity, Ryan quickly learns what Jack has been doing to continue living the lifestyle he has been so badly wanting.
