Tragic news has hit the Nollywood world, as famed actor Jnr Pope apparently drowned during filming.
The actor died unexpectedly on a movie shoot at Marine Cable Point in Asaba, just hours after posting a video of himself on a boat on Instagram.
In the video he posted on Instagram, the actor could be heard screaming out about the risk he was taking by sailing the river Niger without a life jacket.
He wrote:
“See me lamenting……The risk we take to entertain you ; crossing river 9ja yesterday with no life jacket…… Na wahoooooo …. Who does that ??”
Junior Pope’s abrupt death has left his admirers and colleagues in shock and sadness, as they struggle with the heartbreaking reality of his departure.
