Actress Funke Akindele has expressed her sadness for co-star Jumoke Aderounmu in Jenifa’s Diary.
Sources claim that over the weekend, a family member informed them about Jumoke’s passing.
In response to the tragedy, Funke Akindele posted Jumoke’s obituary on her Instagram account on Monday, describing his passing as “sad.”
“Sad!!! “Rest well, Jumoke,” She wrote in a straightforward manner.
Among the Yoruba movies in which Jumoke has appeared is Toyin Abraham’s Alakada,Rita Dominic co-starred in the film La Femme Anjola, which she also produced.
The burial for the deceased has taken place in Owu Baptist Church in the Totoro neighborhood of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The actress was in her mid-thirties. She played the part of Esther before departing from Jenifa’s Diary.
