Given Davido’s admission that he no longer communicates with Wizkid or Burna Boy, many Nigerians have given up on the idea that the two Afrobeats superstars would become buddies.
The singer disclosed this information in a recent interview with Shade 45, where he also gave an update on his friendship with the group.
Davido is in New York City right now, performing with Cardi B and other well-known performers at the BET Experience.
He was asked if he keeps in touch with Burna Boy and Wizkid during an interview while on tour in the city.
These three are well-known for having put Nigeria on the map with their music.
Davido said that they are no longer related to one another and that they don’t communicate despite having each other’s phone numbers.
He said that even though they were all from different parts of Nigeria, they were all happy in their current relationship because there will always be love between them.
Remember how Davido recently made headlines by rekindling his old friendship with Wizkid, in spite of reports of his online spat with Burna Boy? But it appears that the light of that fraternity has gone out once more.
