Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has released a new song since his detention.
Remember that he was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday, May 14, for not paying a debt incurred from buying a G-Wagon from a nearby auto dealer.
Reports state that Portable only paid N13 million of the N27 million vehicle’s purchase price, claiming that the remaining N14 million was withheld due to purported technical issues.
The vehicle dealer then called the police to report the problem, which led to Portable’s detention.
Now, in reaction to his latest experience, Portable has released a new song called “Spider-Man,” which purports to describe his arrest.
Nigerians dubbed Portable “Spider-Man” after seeing a video of him jumping a gate to avoid being arrested go viral and create a lot of talk online.
The “Zazu Zeh” crooner has released a tune about this, capitalizing on the trend.
Introducing his newest song to the world, he wrote:
