In light of the deaths of Junior Pope and others, AMP has suspended Adanma Luke and placed her under strict surveillance.

Adanma Luke has been placed on immediate suspension, as reported by the Association of Movie Producers (AMP).

Remember that the late actor Junior Pope was due to star in an upcoming film produced by Adanma Luke? Sadly, he passed away in a boat accident.

Pope and four other people perished on April 10 in Asaba, Delta state, after he fell into the River Niger while traveling to a filming location.

Nine men have been appointed to a committee to look into the circumstances behind Junior Pope’s and other people’s deaths, according to a statement released by AMP on Monday and signed by its national president, Queen Blessing Ebigieson.

Additionally, Adanma has been advised to halt all work, according to the statement. “pending on the submission of the investigations report and the final decision is taken.”

AMP also sympathised with the families of those who lost their lives as a result of the boat mishap.

Part of the statement said:

Following this tragic incident, AMP has set up a nine-man committee to investigate all activities that led to the death of these practitioners on the set of the movie, Another side of Life!

“Meanwhile, the producer, Adamma Luke, is hereby advised to suspend all work pending on the submission of the investigations report, and the final decision is taken.

“As we mourn our fellow filmmakers, we ask for calm from all sectors, stakeholders, and the public.”
