Recently, Mayorkun released a new song called “Under The Canopy,” which incorporates voice samples of Nicki DaBarbie, a popular TikTok user.
She accuses him of participating in ritualistic rituals in these tapes.
Mayorkun responded to these accusations by saying that he was compelled to address the matter because people’s ideas are prone to change.
He clarified that he was not aware of Nicki’s source of claims and that he had never met her in person.
He also declared that he was going to sue her for it.
Mayorkun posted a video of himself in the studio as the song was being recorded on his Instagram page to demonstrate his commitment to his profession.
It seems like Mayorkun turned the incident into a song. “At the end of the day, the day gotta end!” was the caption he wrote on his post.
At midnight, “under the canopy” comes out!
