“My father didn’t know I had a studio in his house.” — Davido

Music icon Davido revealed that his father, Adedeji Adeleke, wasn’t aware he had a Studio in his house.

Davido talked about his early career in music at the same interview, when he recently admitted that the success Nigerian musicians are currently experiencing has been sacrificed by their forebears.

He revealed that his father was not aware of the home recording studio he had.

He clarified that the property had more than 20 rooms and his father had the habit of heading straight to his room after work, which allowed him to set up a covert studio.

The “Unavailable” singer also talked about how he traveled to the United States for education, attending a school in Tennessee before moving to Alabama. His father did not want him to go to school in Atlanta, the city of his birth, since he wanted to prevent him from becoming distracted.

But Davido went to an Alabama school where the students were really musically interested. He had to leave school at the end of the day because he had to be involved in the explosion of artists back home.
