A female fan was overjoyed when well-known Nigerian Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, supported her guinea pig enterprise.
On April 3rd, 2024, excitement began to build on X (previously known as Twitter) when Davido used his verified account to share his desire for Guinea fowl, writing, “I need Guinea fowl rn so bad 🥹.”
Vendors instantly flooded the comment area, eager to offer their services to the artist, in response to the seemingly casual post.
One vendor, “GUINEAFOWL-BY-AMORI,” took advantage of the situation and shared pictures and videos of her guinea fowl enterprise, asking her followers to assist her in tagging Davido.
Overwhelmed by the enthusiasm, the vendor’s post received a lot of interaction and eventually attracted Davido’s notice.
As promised, Davido not only bought from her guinea pig farm but also made the effort to take pictures with her.
The vendor was so happy that she posted her appreciation on social media, calling Davido the “Bestest Idolo.”
She wrote in her sincere letter;
“To the BESTEST IDOLO!!! Thank you for making me feel warm and welcomed 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 God bless you @davido I Stan and Restan for life🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌.”
