“They want him to come back as a real man.” – Reactions Aas the court renders a final decision in Bobrisky’s case

Idris Okuneye, a well-known crossdresser in Nigeria who goes by Bobrisky, has finally received a jail sentence without the possibility of a fine.

The self-described “mummy of Lagos,” who recently attended a celebration where naira was misused, will serve six months in prison.

During an early April 12 court session, Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos delivered the ruling.

Remember that Bobrisky was charged on six counts, including money laundering and abuse of the Naira, by the EFCC on April 5.

However, once he admitted to the crime, the court dropped the money laundering allegations against him but found him guilty of Naira abuse. The court ruled that he be kept in the custody of the EFCC in Lagos.

Additionally, the judge postponed the case’s hearing until April 9. The Eid-Fitri public holiday, which fell between April 9 and April 11, prevented the court from convening.
